Welcome to our course on Epidemiology. Epidemiology is very important for dental professionals as it involves understanding and using data to improve patient care and manage oral health at both individual and community levels.
Epidemiology in dental practice enables professionals to evaluate and apply study findings to clinical situations, guiding preventive strategies and treatment plans. It's essential for making informed decisions based on evidence and public health trends.
The course focuses on teaching core epidemiological principles, study designs, and ethical considerations in dental research.
We look into how to critically assess the validity and relevance of epidemiological studies and apply these findings to patient care and broader oral health management.
