Audit instructions

This online audit app is designed for dental primary care practice, to audit (systemic) antibiotic prescribing and sepsis management. It can be used in specialist and secondary care, but the automatic marking scheme and advice only applies to primary care.

You can optionally also enter cases where infection was present but antibiotics were not prescribed, to check your prescribing rate.

To enter a new antibiotic prescription (or a non-prescription), click the "Enter a new event" button below. Use the info buttons to learn what the CGDent guidelines say about each condition, and to help you decide what to do with each box on the form.
